Brush Cleanser: DIY Brush Cleaning by www.prettygossip.com

Ingredients: 2 parts dish-washing liquid (or baby shampoo) and 1 part olive oil
Directions:
  1. Mix dish-washing liquid, olive oil and a little bit of water on a plate.
  2. Gently swish brush bristles around on plate. You’ll begin to see the makeup and debris break down onto the plate.
  3. Take brush under running water (always have brush pointing down) and further work up lather.
  4. Rinse well with water and gently squeeze excess water out without pulling bristles.
  5. Air dry with bristles pointing down. You don’t want the water to work it’s way up the brush because it will loosen the glue holding the brush together.
Take these steps to clean your brushes each week will not only extend the life and quality of your brushes, it’ll help prevent unwanted blemishes and breakouts.
