I Söndags gick jag till en konsert på Mosebacketerrassen. I sin flyer skriver Rootsy Live att de tillsammans med sina samarbetspartner är omåttligt stolta att presentera den första årgången av festivalen "Rolling Rootsy Revue" RRR 2014. Festivalen är för de som gillar alternativ folkmusik. Det finns så många bra artister. Ellen Sundberg är en av dem.

Ellens debutskiva "Black Raven" släpptes i augusti 2013. "Black Raven" var en av de nominerade på Manifestgalan. Singeln "Headlights" släpptes 6:e juni 2014. Hon sjunger så vackert. När jag lyssnade första gången på festivalen, älskade jag den låten direkt. Hon är en av min favoriter bland svenska singer-songwriters och hon får mig att gilla country music ännu mer.  Jag hoppas den yngre generationen som jag lyssnar på country mer och mer. Vad tycker ni? Jag hoppas alla gillar den låten.

Last sunday I went to a concert. It was the first Swedish Americana Festival presented by Rootsy Live. The festival are definitely for alternative country music's lover. There were so many great artists. Ellen Sundberg was one of them and she has an amazing voice. 

Her debut album  "Black Raven" was released in August 2013. Black Raven (Rootsy) was nominated at the Manifestgalan in the category singer-songwriter. The single "Headlights" was released on 6th of June 2014. I kind of love this song. When I heard the song for the first time, it really caught my ear. She is definitely one of my favorite Swedish singer-songwriters and she does make me like country music even more. I wish there are many people in the young generation that listen to this kind of music. What do you think? I hope you like this song.

เอลเลน ซุนด์เบิร์กเปิดตัวอัลบั้มแรกของเธอชื่อว่า "แบล็คลาเวน (Black Raven)" เดือนสิงหาคมปีที่แล้ว เพลงนี่ก้อได้เข้าชิงรางวัน มานิเฟสต์กาล่า (Manifestgalan) อีกด้วย  ส่วนเพลง "เฮทไลท์ (Headlights)" เปิดตัวเมื่อเดือนมิถุนายนในปีนี้ 2014  ตอนเราฟังครั่งแรกก้อรู้สึกชอบทันทีเลย มันติดหูเลยอะ เอลเลน ซุนด์เบิร์กเป็นหนึ่งในนักร้องนักแต่งเพลงสวิดิชที่เราชื่นชอบ เค้าทำให้เราชอบเพลงคันทรี่มากขึ้นด้วย เราหวังว่าจะมีคนรุ่นใหม่อย่างเราฟังเพลงคันทรี่กันมากขึ้นนะ ว่ามั้ย

I could see JumpFromPaper trend grows extremely fast especially in Asia. How about in Sweden??? I could imagine some of those hipsters in Södermalm having them on. 

I looked at many reviews on youtube. Most common comment is that The bag itself is really unique and cool but it is very difficult to put many thing inside the bag. Some of the models can even barely fit iPad in. It seems like it is not so functional.

Anyway I would buy the bag for the design. Unfortunately there is no store in Sweden. Thinking of ordering online the bag tonight from their website. They are shipping worldwide now. I will definite let you know once I get the actual bag :).

Mummy's Tartan Oversized Blazer

35 Years Later ,  Year 2014

1979 åkte mama runt i Benelux-länderna och jag var inte en född. Jag kollade bilderna när hon var på resan, hittade några bilder när hon hade en tartan-jacka och chinos på sig. Jag älskar den jackan. Hon köpte tyget i Schweiz ett par år tidigare och skräddarsydde jackan hos en av hennes bästa skräddare i min hemstad. Jag kommer inte ihåg vad tyger kallas.   

Jag fick den jackan av mamma när jag var i Thailand i april. Den är fortfarande i superbra skick efter 35 år.  Totally love it! Tack Mamma för att du tagit så väl hand om den och sparat den till mig. Love you mum!!!!

35 Years Later 

My mum was touring around Benelux during 1979 ,and I was not even born yet. I looked through her photos. I found several photos when she had a red tartan with a girl chinos.Totally love the blazer!!! My mum bought the fabric a couple years earlier in Switzerland ,and tailored the blazer at one of my mum's favourite tailor in my hometown. I do not recall the fabric name though.

I got the jacket from her while I was in Thailand this April. The jacket is still in a super good condition after 35 years. Now I am definitely adding this to one of my favorite oversized blazer.

Thank mummy for keeping it so well for me. Love you so muchhhhh!!!!

ตอนกลับเมืองไทยเมื่อเดือนเมษา เผอิญไปเปิดูรูปเก่าๆของ มาม๊าตอนไปเที่ยวแถวเบเนลักซ์ช่วงปี 2522 เรายังไม่เกิดเลยอะ ผ่านไปเจอรูปที่ม๊าใส่เสื้อลายสก๊อตสีแดง ชอบเสื้อมากกกกกก.......  ม๊าบอกว่าซื้อผ้ามาจากสวิต แต่เราจำไม่ได้ละว่าเรียกว่าผ้าอะไร แล้วเอากลับมาตัดที่เมืองไทย 

ผ่านมาสามสิบกว่าปีละ มันยังอยู่ในสภาพดีมากเลย ม็าเก็บไว้ดีมากๆเลย  สุดท้ายม๊าก็ตัดสินใจให้เสื้อเรามา ดีใจอะ  ตอนนี้ก็ใส่เป็นโอเวอร์ไซส์แจ็คเก็ต สวยอะ!!!! ตอนนีที่สวีเดนกำลังฮิตเลย

 Dubbel Cheese Burger (Onion, Dijon Mayonnaise, Dubble Cheese, Coleslaw) - 165 KR.

Went for an early dinner after work today. My first time at Pitcher's. We were looking for the table outside but all the seat were occupied. Sitting inside was not so bad.  The place's quite big, cozy and spacious.There are so many burger places in Södermalm. Pitcher's definitely one of them.The burger 's not bad at all plus a great ambient. I would say the price 's not very cheap. Let's say "Good food at acceptable price". Definitely coming back!

Basic White Tee and Jean for an easy Sunday

Woke up early on a Sunday morning. I decided to take a walk in Gamla Stan. I have been living in Stockholm for several  years and this's the first time I actually walked around alone in Gamla Stan. It was really nice, quite and calm. 

Dropped by for a fresh squeezed orange juice at Cafe "Klasskakan" and took a walk for one hour.

My outfit for an easy Sunday "White Tee and Jean". American Apparel white top with denim from Zara. I think Denim duo perfectly with a white top. The look is so effortless and chic.

Looking at the music video on youtube with the song title "Slå Mig Hårt I Ansiktet" by Thomas Stenström. The song was released at the end of April 2014.

This is not my type of music at all however when I was listening to it, it does give me a positive energy and the lyric is not so hard for a person who speaks broken Swedish like me.

Summer is coming and I can feel it.........

Briljant! 17 grader i morse, vad fint väder idag.

Efter en god frukost i Fabrique och en promenad runt söder, gick jag för att se “Fred och Kärlek Paraden” >> Peace and Love Parade 2014 Stockholm

Mycket folk överallt. Det var trevligt att se Stockholmarna känna sig så levande igen efter vinterdvalan. Människor ler och bär mycket mer färgglada kläder. Jag känner att sommaren är nära. Förhoppningsvis kommer denna sommar att bli en fantastisk sommar. Sen efter middag åkte vi till Vitabersparken. Det var en trevlig eftermiddag.

Vill bara tacka er alla (Mieaw, Sofia, Pepe, Jacob, Gwen och Calle) för att muntra upp mig på min regniga dag idag.

Wow!!! 17 degrees this morning, what  a nice weather...

After a nice breakfast and a walk around Söder , I went to see the Parade, "Peace and Love" with my friends

There were so many people everywhere. It's very nice to see Stockholm people feeling so alive again after a so called winter hibernation.  People're smiling and wearing much more colourful clothes. I can feel summer's getting close. Hopefully this summer will be an amazing one.

Later in the afternoon we went to Vitabersparken and had a picnic. It was such a nice afternoon well spent.

Just wanna thank you everyone (Mieaw, Sofia, Pepe, Jacob, Gwen and Calle) to cheer me up for my rainy day today.

หลังจากอิ่มอร่อยแล้วก้อเดินเล่นย่อยอาหาร หลังจากนั้นก้อไปดู  Peace and Love พาเหรด >>  Peace and Love Parade 2014 Stockholm ทำให้มีความรู้สึกว่าสตอกโฮล์มตื่นมาอีกครั้งหลังจากฤดูหนาวที่แสนจะยาวนาน ทุกคนเริ่มแต่งตัวมีสีสันมากขึ้น ในช่วงฤดูหนาวก้อจะเห็นแต่สีโทนดำ ดูแล้วหดหู่สุดๆ ขอให้ซัมเมอร์ปีนี้อเมซิ่งด้วยเถอะ สาธุ....

หลังจากดูพาเหรดจบเราและเพื่อนๆก้อไปนั่งอาบแดดที่ สวนสาธารณะ Vitabergsparken  ภาษาสวีดิชเรียกว่า วีต้าเเบอร์รี่พาร์ก แปลว่าภูเขาสีขาว คนค่อนข้างเยอะหน่อยนะ

วันนี้เรารู้สึกคิดถึงบ้านที่เมืองไทยมากๆเลย คิดถึงป้าม้าและทุกๆคนเลยอะ แต่ก้ออยากจะขอบคุณเพื่อนที่สวีเดนที่คอยให้กำลังใจ ทำให้เราไม่รู้สึกเหงา ขอบคุณพี่เหมียว โซเฟีย เปเป้  เจคอป เกวนเเละคาร์ล มากๆที่ใ้กำลังใจเราในวันนี้....
